Along with all other councils in Cheshire, Burland Parish Council is taking part in the election on Thursday 2nd May 2019.
Burland has nine seats available on the Parish Council, but only four people have come forward to be councillors (see sopn-burland-parish).
This means that the Council has five vacancies.
These vacancies will be filled via ‘co-option’ – this means that the Council can receive and make nominations for people to fill the vacant places.
The final decision on who will fill these vacancies will be made by the Parish Council at its meeting on 10th June 2019.
In the meantime, if you are interested in being a parish councillor, please contact the Clerk – email firstname.lastname@example.org.
