BURLAND PARISH COUNCIL – INSPECTION OF ACCOUNTS 2019-20

As per the provisions of the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 and the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015, Burland Parish Council has made its Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) for the year 2019-20 available for inspection by any interested person, together with all accounting records; books; deeds; contracts; bills; vouchers; receipts and other documents relating to these records.

Finally, Burland Parish Council qualifies for an exemption from an external audit, due to it having income/expenditure below £25,000 in 2019-20. The completed and signed Certificate of Exemption for 2019-20 will be posted here.

Burland Parish Council Meeting – Monday 13th July 2020 – 7.30pm – REMOTE MEETING

Burland Parish Council is to hold its fourth remote meeting, as the current pandemic continues.

Due to concerns about social distancing, the Council does not want to take the risk of meeting physically and so has taken the decision to meet via Zoom.

Members to declare any disclosable pecuniary interest or non-pecuniary interest which they have in any item of business on the agenda, the nature of that interest, and in respect of disclosable interests, to leave the meeting prior to the discussion of that item.

If declarations are not made at this point in the proceedings, they should be made as soon as the Member becomes aware of an interest.
